TEACHER OF THE ALEXANDER TECHNIQUE

I came to the Alexander Technique with a general wish to get the best out of myself in life, and as a musician looking for an explanation as to why the more I practised my instruments the worse my playing seemed to get!
Some years after the life changing experience of my first Alexander lesson, and with my question more than satisfactorily answered, I embarked on the 3 year full time training to become a Teacher of the Technique.
Since qualifying as a Teacher in 1992, I have taught in GP Practices in South East London; run courses at Goldsmiths College and Morley College and other Adult Education centres; and taught drama students at the Rose Bruford College as well as teaching many private individuals.
I currently teach at the Theale Wellbeing Centre, or in a student’s own home. I combine my Alexander work with a career performing and teaching music.
